Description
A beautiful hamlet, enscouned in the lap of naturel A land of simple, innocent people. Ashok and Chanda grew together here talking and listening to the diving gifts of nature. They love each other. Their love is pure, sublime and an eternal longing of two souls for each other. When they meet as if the nature serenades to them! Time stands still; only their heart beats together.
Their love has got the blessings of their parents. They are destined to be married. But rode blooms amongst spiky thrond. Ashok and Chanda had to part.
Ashok had to leave for city to pursue higher education leaving Chanda behind. For Chanda, Ashok was the very important and purpose of life. Can one live after the life has gone? A dejected and crest fallen Chanda. Falls sick never to recover and longing for Ashok and Ashok alone till her last breath she closed her eyes.
This faithful message is not conveyed to Ashok in the city lest it should disturb him as he was appearing for his finals. Ashok returns to a world where there is no Chanda. His life is shattered. He asks the river, the hills, and the beautiful trees and flowers where his Chanda has gone? He loses hope and interest in life.
Ashok's parents could not stand the painful destruction of their only son. Ashok is married to a girl of his parents choice much much against jis wish. And on the wedding night the woman who loved Ashok throughtout her life comes to claim her right? Could Ashok forget Chanda? Can there be a union between the one who lives and one who doesn't? Could Ashok's wife fight with the Spirit? Could she retrieve her husband from the clutches of Pyaasi Atma!!
